La Bamba Mexican Grill Restaurant

As a fan of Tacos El Gordo in San Diego, I have been looking for the best adobada al pastor in Arizona. Arizona should have many contenders... it does not. La Bamba Grill is the smallest "hole in a wall" restaurant you will ever likely visit, but it is so worth it. Non-stop dedication from the owner will have La Bamba a household name (at least in Arizona) within a few years, it is that good. His signature sauces and attention to details make this a must stop for Arizona's best tacos.

A pleasant surprise. Wonderful service, creative menu, excellent presentation. It's an easy understanding why the critic's have such a high standing of this cozy restaurant. Very affordable and well worth the stop. They have a secret menu don't forget to ask!

This place has hands down the best street tacos / customer service. The owner Edson is a pleasure to be around and has such a passion for his food. 10 stars if possible!

First time here. Very very good. I ordered the combo plate and my favorite was the bamba taco. I would order that again. Definitely would come back again

Absolutely love this place! Don't worry about not seeing a menu. The man behind the counter will make you the special and it will be on point. The food is made as if you went to your Tio's house for tacos. You can taste the love. It can be hard to find....it's next to the laundromat....you will figure it out when you walk up. Can't wait to go back.

These tacos are absolute life. You can tell all the ingredients are fresh and homemade, and every single bite is so full of flavor and texture. The entire staff was super friendly, and the chef is very personal and you can tell he takes a lot of pride in his food. Definitely do bamba style on your tacos. Melty cheesy goodness with delicious marinated meats, freshly cut veggies, homemade salsas, all on grilled tortillas. I literally did a happy shoulder shuffle with every bite. Highly recommend!

Great food. Anything you order is outta the park. Bamba torte is heavenly with a little bite..in my case. Spicy hot just ask..its authentic. All are Edison's recipes. He IS the man.

Well, I finally got around to checking this little place out. And, I'm glad I did.Located in a very small (3 unit) strip mall, and even with the address, it is easy to miss. And, parking here may be a challenge during peak hours.I got there just before 11:00. But, I had to wait about 7 minutes before they actually opened.One thing I noticed is that they now accept credit cards. However, what the average customer doesn't know, are the merchant fees associated with them. There are per transaction fees, monthly fees and yearly compliance fees. So, if they pass that on to you, don't be surprised. But, I paid cash.For today, I ordered 3 Taco Bambas (though, 2 would suffice since it was for lunch) and a Jarritos Lime Soda.Everything was absolutely delicious! Though, a beer would have washed lunch down better ;-) . Hopefully, they will get their beer license eventually.The owner is very nice, and takes time to talk to you some.I'll be back.

RUN don't walk. Best kept secret in El Mirage. local small taco shop with AMAZING carne asada tacos, nopalito to add flavor along with grill jalapenos....so delicious. HUGE SHOUT OUT TO Edith for introducing me to this amazing place.

The owner is so passionate about his food. The food is really good, the sauces round out the already tasty meat. The watermelon drink is great. The presentation of the food is beautiful. I will surely he back, especially since he promised ceviche coming soon!

This is the only taco that you will ever need in your life. The owner is awesome! So friendly and passionate about his food! I feel like part of his family when I eat here. I had la bomba tacos shrimp tacos and the Mexican corn. Soooo freaking good! I also had cucumber water. Didn't know what I was gonna get but when I drank it my world changed!!! Love this place. Will come back tomorrow.

We came to this restaurant for dinner. This place was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was a winning. The staff welcomed us with a smile and we felt very good. The food was just great. We loved this spot a lot and we shall definitely come back again. Warmly recommended.

I am currently sitting down enjoying my street tacos. This place is amazing I couldn't wait I need to let everybody know. From the moment moment I walked in they made me feel at home. If you ever get an opportunity this place comes highly recommended from me to you.

This place is wonderful! The guacamole and chips were a great way to start the meal. We had watermelon and cucumber waters...both were amazing! I had the taco sampler and it was great. They ran out of Al Pastor, shrimp, and fish (around 7pm ON Saturday) and the place was quite busy. I cannot wait to go back!!

Okay, if you love tacos, then you MUST try this place out. My husband and I have a strong passion for trying all the best street tacos in and around Phoenix... This is now on the list of our favorites.When we pulled up, I was a little hesitant, the location isn't the best, but seriously, who cares about the location if the food is delicious.I got the combo with 3 of their most popular tacos. If I had a bigger stomach I could have easily eaten a dozen more... Delicious!The place is clean. The people working here speak English and Spanish. The guy that helped us was super friendly and welcoming! I didn't get his name, but he was an excellent host to my little family.

By far the best Mexican food I've had in a long time! No competition. Great atmosphere, friendly waiters, the food is made fresh when you order. I ate here after a friend recommended it, and will definitely be back.

Fantastic tacos!! Went for the first time tonight and will certainly be regulars from now on!

What a great place. The tacos were so good (especially the La Bamba) that we all ate two combo platters each. They dont have beer (yet), but it isn't such a big deal with food this good. I hope to eat here everytime I visit the area. Especially since it is on the commute to the hotel, should be easy enough if they aren't super busy.

Very fresh and delicious, and the people are wonderful. You will want to come back again. I particularly loved the avocado, small bits of fruit and sauce drizzled over the taco. Try the ice tea - unique and refreshing!

The food is perfect. The chef / owner makes such fantastic food. The plating looks like it's from a high end dining restaurant. Would definitely recommend going to this place.

This is the best taco place in the west valley. Tge fish tacos are AMAZING. Everything I mean EVERYTHING is made fresh. The chef even makes his own pinapple vinegar in house to marinate his pork. Support small business.

My family and I went here a couple weeks ago, and we can’t get it out of our minds. Hands down one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in an restaurant. Our waitress was helpful and kind. The cook was AMAZING. He was the only one making the orders for everyone in the entire place and there were absolutely no issues with our meals. The prices are reasonable, if not a little on the cheap side, what with the high quality of the food. This place is amazing and I fully recommend it.

Excellent tacos! Stopped by this new hip taco restaurant for lunch with my wife and ordered the combo. Big fan of La Bamba taco! Very tasty! Big plus on all the fresh ingredients used in every taco.

This is a cozy street taco place located in El Mirage. The staff are welcoming and kind, and eager to make your visit a good one. The chips were hot and cooked and brought to us with some yummy sauces. I had asada tacos that were yummy. My husband had tacos and a torta, he loved his food. Great place to go when you are craving a great street taco, and friendly service!

Our first evening in Arizona. Looking for something that is just good food. Found great fresh food, warm atmosphere, delicious. Would highly reccomend.
